Our donation process has had some fine-tuning done and a few learning curves, but we have prevailed and have grown into a strong team. We appreciate all of our customers that have been patient with us as we embarked on this adventure and hope the community continues to come in to take a peak at what we have!
This past September we received a generous donation of more than 3,000 pieces of furniture from the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Centre that will be sold at our ReStore to help fund our Build project. Last night our team went to The Grand at Sun Peaks for their unveiling and tour of the new rooms and they were floored. Our representatives including a board member, and our Executive Director, Bill Miller, were greeted in a most friendly manner and treated like special guests. All of the staff at The Grand went above and beyond for not only the event, but for those that attended.
